THE ARTIST
TEXAS ROOTS.
NO SHORTCUTS.
From the Sour Lake and Beaumont area of Southeast Texas, Chip Darby is a country vocalist and guitarist whose sound brings traditional country storytelling into conversation with Southern rock and Texas blues.
Chip began performing professionally as a teenager. He developed his guitar style through live work before stepping out as a solo recording artist and fronting Chip Darby & Vintage Soul.
The Texas Country Music Association named him its 2023 Artist Scholarship recipient, a distinction independently confirmed by the organization itself. His subsequent recorded singles and live appearances have continued that momentum.
