LIVE MUSIC / CAPTURED END TO END
BOBBY JAY
THE SHOW. THE SOUND. THE STORY.
Concert video production, live audio, photography, editing and field-to-finish media.
I work where musicians meet an audience. From the first camera position to the finished release, I bring the performance home.

01 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
ONE PERSON. THE WHOLE PRODUCTION.
Bobby Jay (Robert Hantson) is a North Texas live-music media producer with hands-on experience working around artists, venues, festival stages and touring operations.
My approach is practical: plan the coverage, get the cameras rolling, capture the live sound, edit the performance and deliver a finished piece people actually want to watch.
I’m accustomed to handling the complete workflow personally—and comfortable working as part of a larger road or media team when a production needs it.

02 / FEATURED WORK
ON THE ROAD WITH GARY KYLE.
A live performance from the On The Road with Bobby Jay archive—an example of the artist-first approach at the heart of my work.
Real-stage conditions. Live music. Video and audio brought together in a finished release.
03 / MORE LIVE PERFORMANCE
MADE FOR THE STAGE. BUILT FOR REPLAY.
Selected live performances from the current MyEPK video collection. The portfolio will continue to grow as I select more complete multicamera concert productions from the archive.

04 / YEARS IN THE ROOMS WHERE IT HAPPENS
THE CAMERA IS ONLY PART OF THE STORY.
From Rockin’ Rodeo concert photography to artist sessions, small-room shows, festivals and road footage, I’ve spent years documenting live music at every scale.
The archive includes work associated with Gary Kyle, Rick Elliott, Josh Weathers and others, with additional Jack Ingram, Stoney LaRue and Adam Hood performances to be selected from my personal recordings.
It also includes early footage of Zane Williams performing “Picket Fences” in 2019—a piece of the history even if it isn’t the most polished recording I have.

Artist and live-stage imagery from the MyEPK media library.
05 / WHAT I ACTUALLY DO
FROM THE STAGE TO THE SCREEN.
There’s no handoff between departments when you’re the one responsible for the whole finished piece. That’s the kind of production I’m used to.
CAMERA & COVERAGE
Concert photography, multicamera recording, live-event shot planning, GoPro and Nikon camera systems, and adapting in the moment.
LIVE AUDIO
Performance audio capture, source balancing and post-production mixing designed to preserve the energy of the show.
POST-PRODUCTION
Adobe Premiere Pro, multicamera edits, long-form concert releases, performance highlights, cutdowns, graphics and final exports.
MEDIA DELIVERY
Content organization, video publishing, channel management, repurposed formats and the follow-through that gets the work released.

06 / THE ROAD
I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE LIGHTS COME UP.
I’ve spent time on the road with artists including Gary Kyle and Rick Elliott, and I understand the planning and flexibility it takes to keep a show moving.
Venue communication, equipment, schedules, artist needs, load-in realities, unexpected problems and finding the sensible way to get everything done: those are familiar challenges.
Media production is my focus, supported by years of real-world coordination and a strong instinct for logistics and cost control.
07 / MY APPROACH
GOOD PRODUCTION SHOULD FEEL EFFORTLESS TO THE ARTIST.
The artist should be focused on the performance, not worrying whether the footage, sound and production details are getting handled.
I’m comfortable wearing several hats, solving problems without drama, and knowing when another pair of hands is the smartest tool in the room.
09 / CONNECT
EVERY SHOW DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED.
