TRADITIONAL COUNTRY ROOTS • CHRISTIAN COUNTRY PURPOSE
A Denton, Texas songwriter with country music in his roots and faith at the center of his story.
OLD-SCHOOL COUNTRY.
A NEW CHAPTER OF FAITH.
Bubba Harper’s story stretches from the honky-tonk traditions of North Texas to recordings carrying a Christian Country message. His songs are rooted in the same storytelling that made him a fixture of the region’s traditional-country scene.
The 2022 album Walking By Faith brought that story to recorded life, while “Just Three Nails” reached #7 on the ACCMA Christian Country Top 40 in April 2026.
One country-music journey. Two connected chapters.
The Story
From North Texas Stages To Songs Of Faith
Bubba Harper is a Denton, Texas country singer-songwriter whose musical story stretches from traditional-country stages to a present-day Christian Country recording and radio career.
The Bubba Harper 24/7 Band became part of the North Texas country scene, including a 2017 City of Burleson performance billed as “True Traditional Country.” That history remains a foundation of the same artist heard on Walking By Faith.
Today, Harper’s songs place faith at the center without leaving the classic country storytelling behind. His recording of “Just Three Nails” reached #7 on the ACCMA Christian Country Top 40 in April 2026.
The Music

Roots & Purpose
One Career. Two Connected Chapters.
Bubba’s story began in traditional country. His career included North Texas live dates, songwriting, the 24/7 Band, and original recordings going back to the 1990s.
His later work brought Christian Country to the forefront. In a 2025 NashvilleVoyager interview, Bubba described performing for churches, gatherings, and events across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Rather than two separate identities, these chapters show one singer-songwriter bringing life experience to the songs he sings now.
